Set up Instruction for Threaded&Grooved Mechanical Tee
1. Pipe Planning
Cleanse the gasket sealing area in 16mm of the hole and examine the sealing floor visually for defects that may stop proper sealing of the gasket. Don’t drill the gap on weld line.
2. Eliminate burrs
Eliminate any burrs or slug before installation to protect the gasket and avoid leakage.
three. Gasket&Housing Set up
Insert the gasket into outlet housing and make positive the tab in the gasket line up with the tab recessing in the housing. Align outlet housing above the pipe hole making sure that the locating collar is in the pipe gap.
four. Alignment
Align the strap about the pipe, insert the bolts and tighten the nuts.
5. Tighten nuts
Alternatively and evenly tighten the nuts to the specified bolt torque.
six. Installation complete
There must be even gaps on two sides amongst the higher and decrease housings.
